The Polish Foreign Minister, Jacek Czaputowicz has criticised Germany for its position on Nord Stream 2 and stressed a debate on the gas pipeline "lies not only in Poland's interest but also in the interest of the EU and our partners." In an interview with a private TV broadcaster on Monday, Minister Czaputowicz described Germany's position as anti-European. The official recalled that the EC wanted to include Nord Stream 2 in its gas directive, and that in such a situation, "the project will no longer be so profitable for Gazprom."
