PLL LOT and Israeli airline El Al have signed an agreement whereby one airline can carry passengers with tickets sold by the other. The deal applies to flights between Poland and Israel and comes into force from Thursday. The CEOs of LOT and El AL, Rafal Milczarski and Gonen Usishkin, signed the agreement at LOT's Warsaw headquarters on Monday. The deal concerns flights between Poland and Israel, connections made to airports in Poland, and from Warsaw to neighbouring countries in the region. Under the deal, the Warsaw-Tel Aviv route will be served by both airlines. This means that LOT makes its code available for connections of the Israeli airline and vice versa.
