Polish defence minister: Raising defence budget a NATO obligation

Raising the defence budget is Poland's duty as a NATO member and a response to threats from the East, Defence Minister Antoni Macierewicz said on Friday, commenting on changes in defence financing laws. He said the Polish government planned to raise defence spending to 2.5 percent of GDP by 2030-32.
