Polish bus maker Solaris starts delivery of electric buses to Berlin

Solaris Bus and Coach has started the delivery of 15, 12-metre-long electric buses ordered by a Berlin public transport operator, the company announced on Tuesday. A contract for the delivery of 154 twelve-metre zero-emission Solaris Urbino electric buses was signed by Solaris and BVG in August 2018. Berlin public transport operator BVG has recently also ordered a further 15 Urbino 18 articulated electric buses to be delivered by the end of the second quarter of 2020. The total value of the contract, including charging infrastructure, amounts to 13.2 million euros.
PAP
