Poland's armed forces, flying F-16 planes, have been taking an active part in allied missions, Minister of Defence Mariusz Błaszczak said on Monday during the inauguration of the NATO Tiger Meet exercise in Krzesiny, west-central Poland. He added that this is an important event celebrating the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining its independence. The minister of defence took part on Monday in the briefing of air crews participating in the NATO Tiger Meet 2018 exercise at the 31st Air Base in Krzesiny. "I have the personal satisfaction that on the 100th anniversary of regaining independence, we are hosting here in Poland, near Poznan, a squadron of pilots representing units from around the world, under the sign of a tiger."
