Police uncover four refugees from Afghanistan, Pakistan

The police have uncovered four refugees, who said they were from Afghanistan and Pakistan, in Bojkovice near Zlin, regional police spokesman Petr Jaros said in a press release today. The four men were driven by a lorry to the industrial premises in the town before Christmas. After their detention, all of them asked for asylum. They were escorted to the detention centre for foreigners in Zastavka, south Moravia, Jaros said. The police were warned of the refugees who jumped out of the lorry by the security guards from the plant.
