Czech police investigated a rising number of investment frauds consisting in pretended dealing at financial markets and also property crime related to insolvency proceedings, the National Centre Against Organised Crime (NCOZ) says in its 2019 annual report released on Wednesday. "With a growing Czech economy and related creditworthiness of households and firms, we remarked a growing number of investment frauds concerning advantageous investment opportunities that promise rapid profit and safe investment in stocks, shares, bonds, cryptocurrencies, precious metals," the NCOZ wrote.
