A group of 726 scientists from Poland are featured on a list of the top two-percent most-cited scientists, published by PLOS Biology, a monthly peer-reviewed scientific journal covering all aspects of biology. The most-cited scientist from Poland was the late Prof. Zdzislaw Pawlak, a specialist in mathematics and computer science from the University of Warsaw.
