Poland wants to revive its Baltic Sea ports - Investment Minister

Poland's Investment and Development Minister Jerzy Kwieciński said on Monday that the government wants to rebuild the strong position of Polish ports in the Baltic Sea, by implementing new projects, both onshore and offshore. The minister made the declaration at the Deepwater Container Terminal (DCT) in Gdańsk (northern Poland), as the facility trans-shipped its nine-millionth 20-feet container, bound for Asia.
