The growth of wages in Poland will accelerate to 7.5 percent year on year in 2019, the Centre for Social and Economic Research (CASE), a research foundation, reported on Wednesday. Poland has seen one of the highest rates in wage growth in Europe and this trend should continue on the back of low unemployment and a rising output gap, CASE said. The output gap is the difference between a country's potential GDP and its actual output. In the case of Poland, its actual output has been significantly higher than the potential growth for some time.
