Poland will adjust its digital tax to binding EU norms, PM Mateusz Morawiecki said in a Wednesday TV interview. He added that Poland wanted the prompt announcement of unified EU digital tax regulations. Asked about progress in the matter, Morawiecki said Poland was still waiting for proposals from Brussels and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, and said his government wanted the tax to conform both to EU and OECD standards. Morawiecki added that preparatory surveys pending the introduction of the digital tax were already underway. He also stressed that Poland awaited the prompt introduction of unified digital tax regulations in the EU.
