Poland still growth leader due to fiscal discipline - FinMin

May 21st, 2019

Poland will remain an economic growth leader due to observance of fiscal rules, Finance Minister Teresa Czerwinska said on Tuesday as she commented on the latest OECD forecast. The OECD has raised Poland's GDP growth forecast to 4.2 percent from 4.0 percent in 2019 and to 3.5 percent from 3.3 percent in 2020. In the May edition of the organisation's Economic Outlook, the OECD confirmed their earlier forecasts of the CPI and core CPI growth at 3 percent in 2020.
