Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydlo on Thursday said the country was seeking to grow fast and ensure the security of its citizens. Speaking after a meeting with Poland's ambassadors during their annual conference, held in Warsaw between Monday and Friday, Szydlo said, "the historical moment in which the time has come to act is difficult". She explained that "the future of the Republic of Poland in the 21st century" was at stake. "I believe that through a joint effort we are going to face up to this task", the prime minister stated. "I trust that Poland's foreign policy and Polish diplomacy will secure a rightful place for our state among the nations of the world", she added.
