Poland ready to meet Israeli history team

Poland is waiting for a meeting with the Israelis and hopes that the Israeli team on historical dialogue will start work without undue delay, Polish government spokesperson Joanna Kopcinska told an internet TV broadcaster on Monday. In their telephone conversation on Sunday, the Polish and Israeli prime ministers agreed to set up expert teams on historical research, Joanna Kopcinska noted. Constructive dialogue and clearing up contentious issues would be facilitated by the expert teams from the two countries, Kopcinska said, adding that they must work together rather than separately to work out a joint stance by Poland and Israel.
