Poland's public debt at EUR 228bn at end-Q3 - MinFin

The Polish public debt went up by 1.7 percent from the end-2017 level in the third quarter of 2018, reaching PLN 977.95 bln (EUR 228.16bn), the Finance Ministry said in a statement on Monday. The public debt went down by 0.7 percent quarter on quarter. The debt of the public finance sector, before consolidation, reached PLN 1.026 trillion (EUR 239.37bn) at the end of September 2018, down by 0.5 percent quarter on quarter and up by 1.4 percent compared to the end of the previous year.
