April 18th, 2018
Pawel Mucha, an aide to Polish President Andrzej Duda, said on Wednesday that he is convinced the constitutional referendum will take place in 2018. In a radio interview, the presidential aide said there was no danger of this date not being met. "I cannot imagine the Senate deciding not to organise the referendum," he added, "after the president submits the draft order to hold the plebiscite." Referring to details of how the constitution might be changed, Mucha said there was especially a need to strengthen the position of the citizen in the state.
