A special team set up to deal with systemic solutions in the Polish healthcare system held its first sitting on Friday. The team discussed planned hikes in healthcare spending and how to allocate the funds, according to Health Minister Konstanty Radziwill. The first meeting was attended by officials representing the health, labour and finance ministries. Representatives of resident doctors who have been on strike since early October did not attend the meeting.
