Poland's economy grew by an annual 4.7 percent in the first quarter of 2019, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Friday. In the fourth quarter of 2018, Poland's GDP increased by 4.9 percent y/y. GUS data also showed that the country's investment grew by 12.6 percent, individual consumption by 3.9 percent, domestic demand by 4.2 percent and exports by 5.9 percent year-on-year in the January-March period.
