Poland enjoys tax revenue growth, says finance minister

August 20th, 2018

Poland's tax revenues are expected to rise by 10 billion zlotys (EUR 2.3bn) more than expected in 2018, whereas in 2019 they are to rise by 5 percent, Polish Finance Minister Teresa Czerwińska told the Dziennik Gazeta Prawna (DGP) daily on Monday. "As for the entire tax revenue pool, I assume that the revenues will be over 10 billion zlotys higher than we expected," Czerwińska said. The government forecasts that Poland's VAT revenue will total 331,670 billion zlotys this year.
