The embassy of Poland dismisses the statement of the Czech Environment Ministry that Poland recognised having made a mistake while assessing the Bogatynia town's zoning plan over the extension of the Turow coal pit, the embassy told journalists today. The Polish plan was also challenged by the Czech Liberec Region bordering on the Bogatynia area. The critics say Poland neither waited until the end of international consultations on the new zoning plan, nor did it take Czech comments and reservations into account.
