Poland's coronavirus deaths reach new grim record of 132

October 16th, 2020

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Poland has increased since Thursday by 7,705 new infections, and reached 157,608, while the death count broke previous records, reaching 132 and raising the death toll to 3,440, the Ministry of Health said on Friday morning. The ministry also reported that 6,980 people with confirmed coronavirus infection have been hospitalised, 311,625 are under quarantine. So far, 87,773 people have recovered.
