Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis (ANO) will not attend meetings of the Government Council for European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIP) in reaction to the criticism of his suspected interest conflict, the government press section said. The government approved today an amendment to the law on regional development support that would enable another government member, not only the PM, to chair the council for EU funds. The document says the prime minister will not attend the council's meetings until the respective amendment takes effect.
