US President Donald Trump's Middle East peace plan and Poland's purchase of F-35 fighter jets were discussed by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and US Ambassador to Poland Georgette Mosbacher on Wednesday, Deputy Foreign Minister Pawel Jablonski told PAP. The meeting between the US ambassador and Polish PM, which was also attended by Jablonski, also touched on economic relations between the two countries. Jablonski said that during the talks, Mosbacher had expressed the United States' appreciation of Poland's role in the Middle East peace process. "The talks also touched on economic relations, especially in the field of 5G and the energy industry," Jablonski told PAP. "In the course of the meeting the issue of military cooperation was also raised. Friday's signing of a deal on the purchase of 32 American F-35 planes was also discussed."
