June 27th, 2019

A plaque with details about Czech Catholic priest and Communist victim Jan Bula, was unveiled on Thursday at the Rokytnice nad Rokytnou vicarage, where Bula lived, Edita Jirakova, from the Institute for Study of Totalitarian Regimes (USTR), has said. Bula and two other priests were charged in the extensive "Babice case" that served the communists as a pretext to crack down on the Catholic Church. The plaques of Vaclav Drbola and Frantisek Paril, the other two priests, were unveiled in nearby Horni Ujezd and Babice.
