The senate of the Specialised Criminal Court in Pezinok (Bratislava region) has ruled that it will allow several mobile phones containing the cryptic Threema app to be used as evidence in the case of the murder of journalist Jan Kuciak and Martina Kusnirova , including two iPhones belonging to Marian K., the alleged instigator, and two iPhones belonging to Alena Zs., who allegedly passed on the order at the behest of Marian K. According to lawyer of the bereaved Daniel Lipsic, the communications contained in these phones show that the two had planned Kuciak's murder. The court has not yet stated when the communications will be read out in the courtroom. Marian K. allegedly also used the Threema app to communicate with several Bratislava judges in attempts to influence them.
