Slovak Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini thinks that the EU must prepare itself for the possibility of a hard Brexit without agreement, TASR learnt on Wednesday. Pellegrini wrote this on his social network after the UK Parliament rejected the Brexit deal brokered by the government of Theresa May in a 432-202 vote. "We need to wait and see what the next steps taken by the British Government will be. Slovakia stands ready by March 29, 2019 to seek solutions aimed at cushioning the negative impacts of Brexit, particularly for individuals and entrepreneurs. On the other hand, we must also prepare ourselves for a scenario of Brexit with no agreement," said Pellegrini.
