The volume of EU funds drawn in Slovakia has grown, currently standing at 13.6 percent, with a realistic assumption that it will increase to 20 percent of the whole allocation by the end of this year, said Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini following his meeting with Vice-premier for Investment and Informatisation Richard Rasi (both Smer-SD) on Tuesday. Rasi said that calls have been announced for 85 percent of all EU funds for the current programme period and that contracts have already been signed for more than 40 percent of them.
