"Nothing can be ruled out in politics, however, I'm ready to serve as prime minister until the regular election in 2020," Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini said during a parliamentary Question Time on Thursday when invited by MP Jan Kvorka (Smer-SD) to review his achievements during the past year. "I took up office with the slogan: 'It's my honour to do it for you and for our Slovakia.' The Government was aware of the strong tendencies to misuse people's demands. I took the uncertain prime minister's seat aware of the need for appropriate self-reflection. Since the beginning I've focused on restoring Slovakia's reputation abroad and the process of restoring public trust in the state," he said commenting on the events that occurred in the wake of the murders of Jan Kuciak and Martina Kusnirova.
