Pellegrini: EU primary environment for Slovakia

The European Union remains the main living space for Slovakia, and the debate on the EU's future is a "debate about ourselves", Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini (Smer-SD) said at the 18th Evaluating Conference of Slovakia's Foreign and European Policy for 2017, now under way in Bratislava. Pellegrini added that Slovakia views NATO as the cornerstone of the country's security, with no alternative.
