Pellegrini: Criticism of rapid-test kits could have diplomatic repercussions

Former prime minister Peter Pellegrini (Smer-SD) warned on Wednesday that statements made by representatives of the new Government regarding medical items and equipment recently imported from abroad could lead to diplomatic repercussions. Matovic is of the opinion that the rapid-test kits recently brught from China aren't what Slovakia needs at the moment because they're effective only when the subject is already exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19. The kits were procured by Pellegrini's government.
