Paratroopers who killed Heydrich commemorated in Prague

Hundreds of people, including Czech politicians attended on Monday a commemoration for the Czechoslovak paratroopers who killed Director of the Reich Main Security Office Reinhard Heydrich, one of the Holocaust architects, in Prague in 1942. The commemoration was held in the Saint Cyril and Saint Methodius Church in downtown Prague where the paratroopers spent the last hours of their lives, preferring death in a heroic fight to the capture by the Nazis.
