Ordinary People files request to be registered as political party in Slovakia

October 28th, 2011

The 'Ordinary People' grouping led by Igor Matovic on Friday filed a request for registration as a political party called Ordinary People and Independent Personalities, or just Ordinary People for short. Matovic said the new party will enable independent candidates to stand in the upcoming early general election. Ordinary People (OL) plans to offer the first 100 places on its slate to well-known independent personalities as well as minor conservative parties.
