The central European region is a stabilising force in the European Union and it wants to have a say in the bloc according to its weight, Prime Minister Viktor Orban told a press conference after a meeting with Mateusz Morawiecki, his Polish counterpart. "While economies in our region are doing well, the EU's migration policy has failed spectacularly," Orban said at the joint press conference. "We are the European Union's engine of growth," Orban said. Central Europe is the bloc's fastest-growing region, "without which we would not even be talking about growth in the EU", he said.
