Orban: Hungary-Croatia disputes won't affect minority issues

Prime Minister Viktor Orban held talks with Robert Jankovics, head of the ethnic Hungarian Democratic Community of Croatian Hungarians (HMDK) party, in Parliament on Monday, Orban's press chief told MTI. Orban and Jankovics agreed that though there are some lingering disagreements between Hungary and Croatia, these do not affect the situations of Hungarian and Croatian minorities in the two countries, thanks in large part to the activities of HMDK, Bertalan Havasi said. The two leaders reviewed the various investment projects carried out in Croatia as part of HMDK's rural and economic development strategy with the support of the Hungarian government and discussed plans for further developments.
