The opposition OLaNO party and extra-parliamentary Christian Union (KU) have offered half of the places on their joint slate for the 2020 general election to extra-parliamentary Christian Democratic Movement (KDH) leader Alojz Hlina, OLaNO leader Igor Matovic and KU leader Anna Zaborska told a news conference on Friday, adding that Hlina would be number three on the slate. "We're offering KDH half of the places on the slate and its own agenda," said Matovic. In addition, the Christian Democrats would be able to form their own parliamentary caucus after the election. He stressed that Hlina can run from the third position with no active politician ahead of him on the slate.
