OLaNO: Charging for plastic bags changed nothing, people must be motivated

The amendment to the Waste Act that introduced mandatory charges for plastic bags in shops as of January 2018 was only good for the government to formally meet its duty for the EU, Opposition MP Gabor Grendel (OLaNO) told a news conference on Friday, adding that the mandatory charges solve nothing, as customers were already paying for plastic bags before.
