Brexit has deprived Hungary of one of its allies in the European Union but Hungarian-British economic ties could strengthen even after UK has left the union, an official of the ministry of foreign affairs and trade said on Tuesday at an event announcing an investment by international payroll company iiPay in Budapest. The government's expectations are confirmed by the expansion of iiPay in Hungary, state secretary Levente Magyar said. The company set up in the UK has made a quick decision to develop a new hub in Budapest which shows that investors have a trust in the further growth of Hungary's economy, he added.
