The number of wealthy Poles with revenues of over 1 million US dollars rose to almost 62,000, due to which Poland's luxury goods market is to grow by around 14 percent year on year in 2018, according to a survey by professional services company KPMG. KPMG reported that Poland's luxury goods market will reach close to 24 billion zlotys (EUR 5.6bn) in 2018. Key clients for producers and distributors are the wealthy, meaning those who earn a minimum of 20,000 zlotys gross per month and very rich clients with an income exceeding 50,000 zlotys gross per month. According to the report, nearly 195,000 Poles earned more than 20,000 zlotys while a monthly income exceeding 50,000 zlotys was received by 50,000 people in 2017.
