There are nearly 5,900 electric cars registered in Poland, with their number growing by 100 percent year on year in the first five months of 2019, according to the newly-launched Electric Mobility Counter. The counter was established by the Polish Alternative Fuels Association (PSPA) and the Polish Automotive Industry Association (PZPM). In January-May 2018, the number of registered electric vehicles totalled 815, while after the first five months of 2019 it amounted to 1,633.
