Number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Poland reaches 40,782

The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Poland increased by 399 since Monday morning and reached 40,782, the Ministry of Health said on Tuesday morning. Another nine people have died, bringing the death toll to 1,636. The ministry also reported that 1,607 people suspected of coronavirus infection have been hospitalised, 90,767 are under quarantine, 9,356 are under sanitary-epidemiological supervision. So far, 30,771 people have recovered.
