Number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Poland rises to 692

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Poland increased on Monday to 692, the Ministry of Health said on Monday afternoon. It also reported that an eighth coronavirus-infected patient has died. The eighth victim, a man aged 83, died in a hospital in Tychy, southern Poland. The first case of coronavirus infection in Poland was reported on March 4, with the patient already discharged from hospital in the western city of Zielona Gora.
