The Czech Federation of Jewish communities (FZO) recorded 347 anti-Semitic incidents in 2018, more than in previous years, the FZO annual report said today. The rise in anti-Jewish sentiment was obvious especially on the Internet, while anti-Semitic violence and discrimination were still rather rare in the Czech Republic. The FZO recorded two physical attacks, but the victims often do not report them, the document said. In 2009, the FZO recorded 28 anti-Semitic incidents, while there were 169 in 2013 and 221 two years later.
