Norway will withdraw from its planned cooperation with Poland within the justice programme, financed from the EEA and Norway Grants to the amount of NOK 700 mln (PLN 292 mln), the Norwegian Foreign Ministry announced on Thursday. "In the light of recent developments in Poland and the decision of the Norwegian Courts Administration, the Norwegian authorities are not prepared to sign the agreement with Poland on cooperation in the justice sector under the EEA and Norway Grants scheme in its current form," State Secretary Audun Halvorsen was quoted as saying in the ministry's press release.
