Polish writer Olga Tokarczuk, who won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2018, has cancelled her visit to the May Book World international book fair and festival in Prague citing a scheduling conflict, Jana Chalupova said on behalf of the organisers on Thursday. Tokarczuk had to cancel her public programme until the summer due to her duties connected with the Nobel Prize. Poland will be an honorary guest to the fair this year. A newly announced Polish guest is fantasy author Andrzej Sapkowski, who is best known for his book series, The Witcher. Sapkowski will be returning to the Prague fair after a ten-year absence.
