Defence Minister Lubomir Metnar has no information indicating Czech soldiers in Iraq are under threat and Czechia is consulting its NATO allies on further steps, he told journalists. After the death of Iranian Major General Qassem Soleimani on Saturday in Iraq, NATO has stopped its training mission in the country. "The training of Iraqi defence forces was suspended and we are consulting with our allies on our next step. At the moment, the soldiers are inside the bases and I have no information suggesting they are under threat," Metnar said.
