Nitra festival starts
July 5th, 2019
The annual cultural festival organised next to the celebration of Saint Cyril and Methodius's day started on Friday in Nitra, the traditional place of pilgrimage in Slovakia. The festival is featuring exhibitions, concerts, a fair and conferences. "A special feature has been added this year - we'll open the original medieval castle gate, ordinarily closed to the public," Mayor Marek Hattas told TASR.
