January 6th, 2020
Nearly 900 Polish towns and cities as well as over 30 worldwide took part in Monday's Epiphany celebrations. Poland's biggest procession was held in Warsaw. This year's Epiphany motto was "wonders, wonders, they announce." President Andrzej Duda, First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda joined the procession in central Warsaw's. Addressing the gathering in Pilsudskiego Square, President Duda referred to this year's motto and emphasised that "in 2020, Poland will celebrate the centenary of the Battle of Warsaw, or the Miracle on the Vistula River, which saved Poland from the Bolshevik onslaught and made it possible to continue building a sovereign Polish state."
