Helping central banks of the western Balkans with their preparations to join the EU and Eurozone, the Slovak Central Bank (NBS) hosted a meeting with representatives of six central banks from the region in Bratislava on Monday. The fulcrum of the meeting was to boost the banks' capacities and continue to extend support for their integration into the European system of central banks. According to Daniela Parat Jovan of the North Macedonian central bank, aid from the EU for the western Balkan region is of cardinal importance.
