NATO evaluating Slovak defence plans

NATO have visited Bratislava in order to evaluate both the existing and planned defensive capabilities of Slovakia as well as the country's international contributions and involvement in international activities as part of a regular two-year cycle, TASR learnt on Friday. "The aim of such bilateral negotiations is to assess how the requirements for meeting the capabilities via which our country contributes towards the 2017 NATO Target Capabilities are being implemented," said head of the Defence Ministry's expert team Josef Pokorny.
