The National Security Council (BRS) met this morning to debate mobile communication of security and rescue forces, long-term defence outlooks until 2035 and the preparation of inhabitants for state defence in 2019-2024, Czech government spokeswoman Vanesa Sandova has told CTK. The BRS was also to deal with the NATO and EU security issues, including the current security situation in the Czech Republic. Last time, the cabinet approved the long-term defence outlooks in 2015 for the period until 2030. The document defined how the Czech military capabilities should develop. The military considers it a basis for defence planning.
